Cultural activities

Fondazione Fiera Milano encourages and promotes Italy’s business culture in an international context. It acts as a privileged intermediary between Milan’s fair system and the exhibiting firms, visitors, institutions and trade associations, the workplace, and especially the trade fair-related economic sectors. Therefore, it acts as a connection with, and supporter of a territory that historically has been devoted to manufacturing and is quickly reorienting itself toward a highly diversified new economy, to increase the added value of Milan and the Lombardy Region and boost the national economy as a whole.
 
It pursues this mission through the Studies area which acts as a cultural hub with an intertemporal perspective, gathering the legacy of the past through the Historical Archive, interpreting the present with research in various fields of interest – economic, social, and territorial – and supporting the future of the trade fair system through the education and training opportunities offered by the Academy of Trade Fair Management.
