Fieramilanocity and MIC
Located in Milan’s Via Gattamelata, the MIC (Milano International Congress) is the largest congress center in Italy: 36 rooms of varying sizes, an auditorium with seating for 2,000 people, 85,000 sq.m of exhibition space, capable of hosting up to 25,000 people.
Adjacent to the MIC is the Portello “rib” by Mario Bellini, the most modern section of the old Milan Fair. The building hosts fashion runways and light exhibitions, but major restructuring work which began in December will transform part of its pavilions and the MIC into the largest congress center in Europe, defined by an extraordinary architectural and luminous gem, the “comet”, another work by Bellini.
