Working on the Expo Promotion Committee, Fondazione Fiera Milano’s contribution to the project consists of part of its real estate, the design and operating skills of Sviluppo Sistema Fiera, and the organizational know-how of Fiera Milano.
On 20 July 2007, an agreement was signed entitling the Milan City Council to use the 1,280,000 sq.m site that is 50% owned by Fondazione Fiera Milano and is located in the Fiorenza area and near the eastern entrance to fieramilano.
