Car Parks

FieraMilano has more than 14,000 parking spaces around the exhibition complex as well as in a “remote” location which is used  during the busier exhibitions. The entire system cost an overall  €57,100,000 to build, entirely funded by Fondazione Fiera Milano.

The multi-level car park by Marco Bellini near the western entrance hosts more than 3,000 cars: it is one of the largest in Europe. It is a leading-edge facility not only due to the unique organization of vehicular and foot traffic flow, but also because of the technological and architectural innovations that were employed -- the facades have a stainless steel mesh cladding, the regularity of the shapes and the symmetrical arrangement of the spaces are inspired by the principles of innovation, functionality and beauty.

At the Fiera car parks, the circulation of visitors, goods and public or authorized transport have been separated; functionality is guaranteed by routing the traffic in a driver-friendly way. The same principle was applied to the roads leading to the parking areas, to prevent long queues from building up along the access roads.

A total of 2,500 trees were planted in the car park areas: more than one tree for every three parking spaces, in addition to 1,000 trees along the central axis between the pavilions at the New Complex and the greenery around it.
