Chairman and CEO

The Chairman is the legal representative of Fondazione Fiera Milano and has power of ordinary administration of the programs, projects and guidelines that are approved by the Executive Committee and pursues the objectives set forth in the Annual Planning Report.
He summons and chairs the meetings of the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee, sets the items on the agenda, establishes the proceedings for their resolution; manages, chairs and coordinates Board meetings.
He oversees the implementation of the resolutions passed by these bodies and ensures that the goals of Fondazione are achieved. He has a three-year term.

Gianpiero C. Cantoni was the Chairman and CEO of Fondazione Fiera Milano from December 2009 to May 9, 2012.

Following the death of the President, Gianpiero C. Cantoni, on May 9, 2012,  Deputy Vice President Vittorio Bellotti, succeeded the president in his duties under the terms of Art. 5 paragraph 5 of the Statute of Fondazione Fiera Milano, as appointed member by the Milan City Council.
