Academy of Trade Fair Management

Accademia di Management Fieristico (Academy of Trade Fair Management) was founded in September 2002 out of Fondazione Fiera Milano’s desire to bring continuity and development to the industry-focused training activities that it has been proactively pursuing for more than 15 years.

Fondazione Fiera Milano, fully aware of its role as a “systems facilitator” that it has come to play by managing the transformation process and that has earned it community recognition, has set up this Business Unit entirely dedicated to the promotion and implementation of initiatives and projects for the training and development of professional competence in the exhibition industry and, more generally, for the dissemination of the exhibition and business culture in Italy and abroad.

Fiera Milano’s Accademia is designed to safeguard the specificity and identity of exhibition professions by defining competence standards and jobs inside and outside the system, monitoring existing competence levels and building development-oriented services such as counseling, training, assessment and evaluation of professional skills.

As the first permanent training center in Europe for exhibition professionals, Accademia organizes and develops new training courses in exhibition-related professions and has an ambitious mission: to become the leading center for exhibition training and culture, thus helping to create new professional opportunities for young people and qualified employees in a sector that has a strong demand for skilled professionals.
In a general industry climate marked by transformation and sweeping legal and economic reforms, Accademia capitalizes on the experience and know-how gained by Fiera Milano in more than 80 years and meets the demand from the exhibition sector by investing in human resources to revitalize the Italian exhibition sector and help it rise to meet the new international challenges.

Accademia offers a variety of dedicated training courses to a specific target, that of industry professionals and companies that use exhibitions as a marketing tool, and to young professionals who wish to enter the exhibition and congress industry.
