Fieramilano lies at the center of a “web” of roads and highways. It is the only area in Italy with such an extensive infrastructure network. Its perimeter is touched by the A4 Milan-Turin highway on the east, the A8 Milan-Laghi highway on the north, the west bypass and the No. 33 Sempione State highway on the south, which has a recently-completed underground section for the Exhibition complex. It also collects vehicles arriving from the new Rho-Monza super highway with three lanes in each direction and touching Fiera near the eastern access.
It takes less than 30 minutes to reach fieramilano from the city downtown using MM1 Red Line subway, whereas the railroad offers connections with Milan and Turin as well as with the Rho-Fiera station, inaugurated in 2009, on the Milan-Domodossola line and is also a stop for trains from the Milan railroad link, with a train stopping every 10-12 minutes. High-speed line trains connecting Milan with Europe along Corridor 5 will also enter into service in the next few years.
