Since the end of March 2005, Fiera Milano has gradually left its historic city location, where it was based for more than 80 years, to move to the new, modern fieramilano district, in the city’s northwest inner ring, near the towns of Pero and Rho.

However, several pavilions, under the name of fieramilanocity designed by Mario Bellini and built at the end of the '90s in the Portello area, continue to operate in the heart of Milan. These facilities offer 43,000 square meters of exhibit space and are ideal for hosting the “lighter” events that require less space or are more suited, due to the nature of their merchandise, to a city location.

One of these pavilions was restructured in the transformation process as part of the MiCo-Milano Congressi center, managed by Fiera Milano Congressi, which complements and considerably expands the existing congress structure. MiCo –Milano Congressi is Europe’s largest congress center.
