As coronavirus numbers continue to rise, authorities and institutions, above all the Lombardy Region, have asked Fondazione Fiera Milano to make Portello Pavilions 1 and 2 at Fieramilanocity available to cope with the shortage of intensive care hospital beds for patients diagnosed with the Covid-19 coronavirus at hospitals in Lombardy.
In order to comply, we must allocate resources earmarked in 2020 for sponsorships & donations to the implementation of this project.
As such, any sponsorships and all types of disbursements to non-profit and voluntary sector organizations are suspended from March 20, 2020 until further notice. The platform for on-line applications is also suspended until further notice.
Any applications sent by email or postal mail will not be taken into consideration.
All applications already submitted on the platform for 2020 projects and under review or already reviewed but not yet under contract, are frozen until further notice.
Once the pandemic is over, we are prepared to continue to support the non-profit and voluntary sector which, in our opinion, will play a significant role in the country’s recovery.
