The Report “L’Europa dei grandi eventi associativi e corporate” (Big congresses and corporate events in Europe) aims at analyzing the segment of congresses and corporate events and it is the result of the cooperation between the Study Department of Fondazione Fiera Milano and ASERI – Alta Scuola di Economia e Relazioni Internazionali of Università Cattolica.
It was designed to fill the void of data related to big events held in Europe and promoted by associations and companies, a very relevant market for the city of Milan and the conference venues belonging to Fiera Milano Group.
This report was published for the first time on the occasion of the 2022 edition of Milan Ambassador Programme, an event organized by YesMilano to bring together the stakeholders of Milan, share views on the positioning of the city as a destination for big events and to award personalities whose efforts contributed to attracting those events.
The book analyzes events with more than 1,000 delegates held in Europe in 2021 and it focuses on the subjects of the meetings held in the main 11 cities.
Milan ranks among the cities that attracts the highest number of big events in Europe.
