Information Note on the Privacy of Contact Details Direct information note Request for information materials

In compliance with Article 13 of EU Regulation no. 679/2016
With this Information Note, as required by Art. 13 of the EU Regulation no. 679/2016 on the protection of Personal Data (“GDPR”), Fondazione E.A. Fiera Internazionale di Milano informs You of the following.

1. Personal Data Controller

3. Purpose and legal basis of Personal Data processing
Your Personal Data will be processed, with the support of computer and/or paper media, only for the following purposes and based on the following legal bases:

a) purposes relating to requests of information materials regarding the initiatives of Fondazione Fiera Milano, including the forwarding of any communication concerning Your request - this processing being necessary for the satisfaction of Your requests;

b) direct marketing purposes, such as the forwarding of promotional material and/or commercial communications, including commercial newsletters, with traditional (e.g., paper mail, operator telephone calls) and automated contact systems (e.g., emails or text messages) regarding the events and activities organized by the Data Controller - optional processing that will be done only with Your consent (which may also be given for traditional contact modes only), as requested below;

c) profiling purposes, to better understand Your choices/preferences about the initiatives of Fondazione Fiera Milano - optional processing that will be done only with Your consent, as requested below.

4. Recipients of Personal Data
Only in close connection and in line with the aforementioned purposes, Your Personal Data may be disclosed to third parties who, as data processors, carry out specific tasks on behalf of Fondazione Fiera Milano and who may include providers of technological, administrative and/or accounting services; the contact details of said data processors can be requested from the following email address: accademia@fondazionefiera.it.

5. Transfer of Personal Data to a third country or to an international organization
Your Personal Data may be transferred to non-EU countries (“Third Countries”) to persons who perform certain data processing operations on behalf of the Data Controller as Data Processors, in compliance with the purposes set out in Section 3 above.
The transfer of Personal Data to Third Countries will be done in compliance with the requirements of the GDPR (for example, after signing standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission or in compliance with the Privacy Shield in the case of transfer to the United States).

6. Personal data retention period
Your Personal Data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfil Your request for information materials, including the forwarding of multiple communications, and, if You give Your consent, for profiling and marketing purposes, for the retention periods specified by the Privacy Authority or by the legislation. The statutes of limitations established for the rights and obligations implied in the processing performed shall in any case be complied with.

7. Rights of the Data Subject
We inform You that, as Data Subject, You are entitled to the following rights vis-à-vis the Data Controller:

Right of access:
You may ask for confirmation whether or not Your Personal Data are being processed and, if so, You may obtain, inter alia, access to Your Personal Data and information concerning the purposes of the processing, the categories of Personal Data involved, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom Your Personal Data have been or will be disclosed.

Right of rectification:

(i) You may ask the rectification of inaccurate Personal Data without undue delay and the (ii) integration of Your Personal Data, if incomplete.

Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”):

You may ask that Your Personal Data be erased without undue delay (the Data Controller is obliged to erase Your Personal Data without undue delay in the cases provided for in Article 17 of the GDPR).

Right of restriction:

You may restrict the processing of Your Personal Data in the cases referred to in Article 18 of the GDPR.

Right of data portability:

You are entitled to receive Your Personal Data stored by us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and You may transmit Your Personal Data to another data controller without any obstacle from the controller whom You have previously entrusted with the processing of Your Personal Data in the cases referred to in Article 20 of the GDPR.

Right of opposition under Article 6, paragraph 1, letters e) or f):

You may oppose to the processing of Your Personal Data at any time on grounds relating to Your particular situation pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letters e) or f), as well as to profiling, on the basis of said provisions.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data if You believe that the processing of Your Personal Data infringes EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (“GDPR”).

You also have the right, at any time, to withdraw Your consent or object to the processing of Your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes, to the forwarding of commercial newsletters and to the related profiling activities pursuant to Article 21, paragraph 2, of the GDPR by filling out the form made available at the following web address http://www.fondazionefieramilano.it/static/upload/mod/modulo_esercizio-diritti-interessati--ffm.docx.

Your objection or withdrawal of consent to the processing will not affect the lawfulness of the processing done on the basis of Your previously provided consent.

8. Nature of the provision of personal data and consequence if personal data are not provided

The provision of Your Personal Data for the purposes referred to in Article 3, letter a), above is necessary for use to be able to send You the information materials requested; failure to provide said Personal Data will make it impossible for us to send You said materials.
The provision of Your Personal Data for the purposes referred to in Article 3, letters b) and c) above, is optional and subject to Your express consent. If Your do not give this consent, it will be impossible for the Data Controller to use Your Personal Data for those purposes. The consent given for the purpose referred to in Article 3, letter b), may also be limited to forwarding of promotional materials and/or commercial communications only by traditional means of contact.

9. Consent to Personal Data processing

In accordance with Articles 6, 7, and 13 of EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (GDPR) and as explained in this Information Note:
